A conservatorship is the court process where a guardian is appointed to manage financial affairs and/ or the daily life of another due to physical or mental limitations.  Conservatorships apply to persons over the age of 18.  Guardianships are a similar court process to that of a Conservatorship but for minors under the age of 18.
